The Gameplay
The objective of the game is simple. Flood-It is a game of strategy where you will have to fill the board with one color in 22 steps or less. You will basically start in the upper left corner and then tap a colored circle at the bottom of the screen. The color of the ball must be the same as the color of the adjacent blocks in the main screen to achieve your goal. The game goes on until the board is filled with one solid color, or until your 22nd move. For instance, if the start of the puzzle in the top left corner had a yellow square and the 2 of the adjacent squares are red, then you would definitely want to tap the red circle at the bottom of your iPhone screen. This move will make the yellow square red to match the 2 squares that it is touching. The red area gets bigger and bigger until you completely flood the board with solid red.
It can be pretty tough to fill the 12 by 12 grid with such limited number of moves. The game also allows you to track your previous scores so that you will be reminded of your win percentages and thus you will feel the urge to raise your win percentage. As you level up, it also limits the number of moves with which you are allowed to make in order to win a game.
User Interface
Like the game itself, the interface is pretty simple. The controls are very easy. You will only need to tap the colored balloon to methodically flood the entire game board with one solid color.
