Collect Gold Coins By Downloading Mega Jump For Your iPhone

Imagine yourself hopping and jumping on a trampoline for hours. The carefree feeling is just incredibly amazing that you would never want to stop, but not when you get tired though.  Mega Jump mimics the same childish feeling of soaring up and above the trampoline, and this time, with gold coins waiting in the air.

About the Game

Mega Jump is an iOS arcade type game developed by Get Set Games. It closely resembles Doodle Jump, excluding of course the hefty price tag. The premise of the game is to get your character farther up through the air while you collect coins, grab bonuses, earn points and unlock new levels.

The Gameplay

Mega Jump

As you can guess, Mega Jump is basically just a jumping free game where your only goal is to jump to get the highest possible score. You can bounce off the ground and get as much flashy gold coins as you can. The game looks really simple, but bouncing back and forth is not an easy task. The coins are spread out in the air through each stage and in many different patterns. You will find some areas to be abundant of coins, while other sections do have limited supply. It is during these circumstances wherein the game requires you some real playing skills.  Aside from the coins, there are also many other items in the sky that can assist you in your jumping quest.

To add more dynamics in the game, some elements will blow you like a balloon in the air, a parachute, anvil or a magnet. Meanwhile, fire rockets will blast you to the top at high speeds. For every 100 coins you get by bouncing on and off the space, the game gives you 10 MP credits. When you have 1,500 MP, you can use these credits to unlock other cartoonish characters and items. These unlockable characters and items give any player the push to get more coins. The various characters are equipped with unique abilities that can help you through the game. This triggers the desire of every gamer to unlock these characters.

User Interface

Stop me if you’ve ever heard this before, but the controls are really very simple. You control the game by titling your device back and forth in order to guide your character through the air. We commend the sensitivity of the controls which make for a great playing experience. Even if you do fall down it will feel like it was truly a lapse on your part and not due to the unresponsiveness of the controls.

Graphics and Sound Effects

The game is supported by very vivid and childish retina graphics which surprisingly add to the overall appeal of the game.  The goofy and cartoonish graphics give laid-back, fun look to the game. While the great upbeat music and the hilarious sound effects are there to fascinate you, it really gets extremely repetitive. Luckily, you can turn off the music and sound effects if you rather want to listen to the music from your playlist. On the flip side, the colorful visuals in the background can be quite distracting. Therefore, you really have to pay special attention on your character and the coins so you can easily adjust your tactics up in the air.

The Drawback

Just like most games, you will have the option to buy MP (market points) with actual cash. MP is used to unlock special power-ups, wall papers, and more characters aside from the main man,Redford.  Nevertheless, you are never really pushed to splurge some real cash for MP. In fact, you can still earn free MP by downloading some linked apps in your device.

Conclusion

The concept is simple yet truly addicting. Mega Jump provides extra fun especially when you’re simply beaten by boredom. It’s also a great thing that the developers manage to update the gameplay frequently and thus you can always expect additional contents from time to time. And for a free game, it’s really silly not to download Mega Jump for your iPhone.
